Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia is seeking a One Stop Student Service Counselor within the Division of Finance. This role provides a comprehensive suite of services to students and their families in registration, billing, and financial aid, using campus systems to resolve inquiries.

As the first point of contact, you will interpret policies including FERPA, handle inquiries via multiple channels, and document interactions in Salesforce and Banner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• FERPA and higher-education regulatory standards knowledge.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive student services support regarding academic records, registration, financial aid, loans, billing, and related matters.
• Escalate and coordinate resolution of complex cases with functional specialists and University partners.
• Receive, research, investigate, and resolve inquiries through multiple channels and document outcomes.
• Interpret and apply policies to determine appropriate resolutions and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Develop expertise in SRFS Service Hub processes and mentor work-study staff.

Education

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts; 2 to 3 years of experience
