Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED (required).
• Associate degree in related field (preferred).
• Minimum of two (2) years' professionally relevant work experience (required); experience in student services, admissions, or retention (preferred).
• High volume outbound calls and follow-up communications with professionalism and empathy.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to exercise good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to foster long-term relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily outreach to former students through phone calls, email, text messages, and other communication methods to encourage re-entry and continued enrollment
• Maintain ongoing contact with prospective re-entry students and document outreach activities, follow-up efforts, and outcomes in designated systems
• Meet with students considering withdrawal to discuss resources and re-entry opportunities
• Contact absent students to identify barriers to attendance, provide resources, and encourage participation
• Participate in weekly campus accountability meetings and provide updates on outreach and re-entry progress
• Support campus re-entry initiatives and retention efforts to increase re-enrollment and persistence
• Assist Student Affairs in connecting students with support services promoting success and re-entry goals
• Provide excellent customer service to students, alumni, and community partners while adhering to confidentiality and policies
