The College of Health Care Professions is seeking a Student Success Advisor to assist students reentering after dropping and to guide them through the first 90 days of college. The role focuses on providing tools, resources, and supportive services to help students complete their education with increased retention and satisfaction.

Under the Director of Education, the advisor will coordinate student services, lead workshop series, and collaborate with staff to address barriers to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsabilités

• Reenter students after dropping and provide tools/resources to complete education.
• Assist with first 90-day transition to college experience.
• Support retention through services and outreach to students at risk of withdrawing.
• Coordinate and maintain a bank of student services options (childcare, transportation, etc.).
• Lead weekly student stitch-in meetings and supervise new student committee activities.
• Facilitate workshops on study skills, note taking, test anxiety, and related topics.
• Meet with students in person to discuss resources, portal access, tutoring, and related support.
• Communicate one-on-one with students about special topics, training, and coaching.
• Organize community service opportunities for students, staff, and faculty.
