Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a Student Recruitment Counselor to manage full-cycle recruitment for prospective students. You will represent the university at educational fairs and manage recruitment plans to meet targets, engaging with applicants through the Worldwide/Online Campus and campus locations.

As SRC you’ll build relationships with students, families, and partners, coordinate with admissions and advising, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma.
• 1-3 years of excellence in Customer Service and/or 2 years of recruitment experience.
• 1-5 years of Financial Aid experience preferred.
• Proven track record for meeting deadlines and handling pressure with tact and composure.
• Dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic with professional recruitment experience in higher education.
• Analytical skills and technical familiarity with Microsoft operating systems, Outlook/email, and Salesforce.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High standard of personal conduct, professionalism, and integrity; confidentiality is vital.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to coworkers, staff, students, faculty, and customers.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to recognize priorities and take on duties not directly assigned.
• Strong problem-solving and corrective action skills.
• Moderate travel required.
