Job summary

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital seeks a part-time radiology support professional at the Royal Oak location to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under supervision and ensure patient safety and care during imaging. Responsibilities include coordinating routine fluoroscopic work, portable x-rays, and trauma-related procedures in line with established standards.

• 1 year of relevant imaging experience or completion of the first year of an accredited imaging program preferred.
• CRT-BLS certification upon hire (AHA or ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer.
• Assume responsibility for the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
• Coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.

Scope of Work

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program Preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
