Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a part-time evening shift. You will perform diagnostic imaging across general radiology, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation and maintaining patient safety protocols.

The role is 20 hours per week at the Royal Oak site, with a sign-on bonus available up to $7,500 and a commitment to patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• Required ARRT radiologic technologist registration within 180 days.
• ARRT radiographer (R) registration required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology.
• Apply principles of radiation protection and comply with regulations.
• Take responsibility for designated area and provide clinical instruction as appropriate.

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 Beaumont doctors on faculty.

Scope of work

Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations. Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. Follows Corewell health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.

• Training gained at student level. Required

• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required

• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
