Job summary

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Imaging Attendant to perform radiographic procedures under supervision, ensuring patient safety and equipment readiness.

Under the guidance of a registered radiographer, you will coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgical imaging to established standards, while maintaining care and safety. BLS certification is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of relevant imaging program experience preferred.
• CRT-BLS (AHA or ARC) upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under direct or indirect supervision of a radiographer.
• Coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain equipment and supplies at beginning/end of each procedure.
• Maintain general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.

Scope of Work

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program Preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
