Job summary

VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY in Rosemont, Pennsylvania is seeking a STOVS Program Assistant to assist with the development, implementation, and execution of the STOVS program. This role includes providing administrative support to the STOVS Program Director and mentoring students in study hall.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of student development theory, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work evenings. The position is part-time at 35 hours per week for two weeks.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of student development theory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to relate easily & effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to provide supportive and constructive feedback to students.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to students after class.
• Coordinate student activities and prepare for STOVS.
• Assist students in study hall through one‑on‑one mentoring.
• Facilitate group workshops and provide student advising weekly.
