Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking a Student Programs Manager to support the Student Affairs and Programs unit within the Pritzker School of Medicine. This role focuses on program management, administrative tasks, and logistics to advance the medical education experience.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with MS Office and website management.

Qualifications

• Education: college or university degree required.
• Work experience: 2–5 years in related field.
• Experience in student services or customer service strongly preferred.
• Experience in academic or medical center environment is desirable.
• Experience with website/content management strongly preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student events between PSOM and faculty, students, staff and families.
• Plan and execute Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Honor Society Inductions, Graduation Events.
• Support Wellness Initiative and student-run Free Clinics and community outreach.
• Provide administrative support to the Dean of Students and related leaders.
• Monitor and coordinate Student Affairs timelines, planning and event delivery.
• Maintain Pritzker Website, Calendars, and Student Lists.
• Manage reimbursements, ordering, vendor payments and other financial activities per guidance.
• Maintain organizational records and archives.
• Market student activities programming throughout the year.
• Develop activities and initiatives related to student life and community involvement.
