Job summary

The University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine seeks a Student Programs Manager to provide high‑level program management, administrative and logistical support for student activities in the Student Affairs & Programs unit.

You will coordinate events (Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Graduation), support wellness and student clinics, assist Deans, and maintain websites and calendars while handling reimbursements using Oracle/GEMS.

Qualifications

• College or university degree required.
• 2–5 years of related work experience.
• Experience in an academic or medical center environment preferred.
• Experience with website/content management preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student events and act as liaison between PSOM and faculty, students, staff and families.
• Support Wellness Initiative and student-run Free Clinics and community outreach activities.
• Provide administrative support to the faculty Dean of Students, Associate Dean of Students and Executive Director of Student Affairs.
• Monitor, oversee and coordinate all Student Affairs & Programs timelines, planning, and event delivery.
• Maintain Pritzker Website, Calendars, Student Listservs, and other online resources for students and community.
• Manage student reimbursements, ordering, vendor payments and other financial activities using Oracle, GEMS, and related systems.
• Maintain organizational records and archives relevant information and program materials.
• Markets student activities programming throughout the year.
• Develop activities, programs, and initiatives related to student life and community involvement.
• Develop and implement protocols for evaluating program effectiveness.
