Job summary

The University Centers Payroll Coordinator (UCPC) at UW-Stevens Point will verify payroll for approximately 200 student employees and initiate and maintain all payroll and personnel records. This role requires a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy and works with area supervisors, UCSEC, and Human Resources.

Duties include meeting new employees to complete payroll paperwork, updating student status in Excel, handling onboarding and off-boarding, and assisting with special projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated organizational and administrative management skills.
• Must be enrolled as a part-time student (min 6 undergrad or 5 grad credits) with good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher).
• Please note the role requires confidentiality and accuracy in handling payroll records.

Responsibilities

• Verify payroll for ~200 student employees and maintain payroll and personnel records.
• Onboard new hires, process payroll paperwork, and manage status updates in Excel.
• Support onboarding/off-boarding processes and assist with special projects for University Centers.
