University of Idaho seeks a Community Outreach Coordinator for the TRIO-INSPIRE program (Lapwai-Orofino Upward Bound). The role focuses on coordinating services, recruiting participants, and delivering educational content across in-person and digital formats to support low-income and first-generation students.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with willingness to travel and work nonstandard hours. Strong data management, confidentiality, and collaboration skills are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to travel overnight for student programming and occasional intraday travel.
• Ability to work nonstandard hours as requested by supervisor.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet University driving requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate service delivery and participant recruitment for Lapwai-Orofino Upward Bound.
• Conduct outreach and information sessions on postsecondary options and career paths.
• Provide academic and financial aid assistance to eligible participants.
• Document and evaluate project services and outcomes.
• Develop and deliver educational content in person, distance, or digital formats.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive student records.
• Operate computers and analyze data using various software programs.
• Work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
