Job summary

University of Idaho is seeking the SVUB Community Outreach Coordinator to recruit, serve, and track students at Kellogg/Wallace while supporting six-weeks summer programming and ongoing year-round activities.

You will work with SVUB staff to implement mentoring, tutoring, advising and counseling, coordinate field trips and college visits, and travel as needed to engage local schools and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience advancing educational opportunities for low-income and non-traditional students.
• Ability to develop and implement student outreach based on educational opportunity concepts.
• Proven ability to plan, schedule, and track student activities to meet recruitment goals.
• Strong business communication skills and ability to edit professional materials.
• Experience in program planning, implementation, and independent research.
• Experience delivering student services including teaching, supervision, or counseling non-traditional students.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, serve, and track students at assigned school.
• Develop and implement student activities, workshops, and field trips.
• Coordinate residential summer program (six weeks) and capstone trips.
• Travel for campus visits and outreach events as needed.
• Collaborate with SVUB staff to meet annual recruitment targets.
