Job summary

UW-Stevens Point is seeking a part-time Cupboard Operations Coordinator to manage the student food pantry. You will recruit and supervise volunteers, maintain inventory, and plan food drives and fundraisers, while handling administrative duties.

You will collaborate with the CASE team to brainstorm and facilitate programs for students and the community. This role is designated for part-time student employees, with a minimum workload and eligibility for criminal background checks.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week during the semester and attend meetings and events as necessary, including occasional evening and weekend commitments.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. while on shift.
• Able to work under limited supervision during shifts.
• Criminal Background Check required by the University Centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the student food pantry.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers and maintain inventory.
• Plan food drives and fundraisers and handle administrative duties.
• Collaborate with the CASE volunteer programs team to design programs meeting student/community needs.
