Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking a Student Operations Associate in the Office of the Dean for the College of Medicine. The role supports events, space planning, and general administrative tasks at Hamilton Hall and other campus buildings.

The position requires enrollment in a degree program at OSU, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 7–12 hours per week with varying shifts; Autumn 2026 start date anticipated.

Qualifications

• Must have a high attention to detail and be dependable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move between buildings/spaces.
• Previous customer service, events, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at OSU.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Events and Building Coordinator and space planning/ facilities management team.
• Support College of Medicine events and spaces, including setup/teardown of venue furniture and equipment at Hamilton Hall and other College buildings.
• Assist with general administrative tasks (data entry, answering emails, inventory maintenance, file organization).
• Contribute to a collegial team environment and professional development.
