Responsibilities
- The Student Operations Associate provides support to the Events and Building Coordinator and the space planning and facilities management team at the College of Medicine.
- They are responsible for supporting College of Medicine events and spaces, including setup and teardown of venue furniture and equipment at Hamilton Hall and other College buildings.
- The Student Operations Assistant will also support general administrative tasks in the Office of the Dean such as data entry, answering emails, maintaining supply inventory, organizing/purging files, and various projects as assigned.
- This position provides an excellent opportunity for a talented and committed, up and coming professional, whose skills and attitude complement a dynamic, collegial team.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at OSU.
- Must have a high attention to detail, be dependable, have the ability to lift up to 50lbs, and the ability to move between buildings and spaces over extended periods of time.
- Previous customer service, events, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Requires successful completion of a background check.
- Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
Additional Information
- 7-12 hours/week.
- Days and hours per week are negotiable based on the student's class schedule.
- Looking for students available to start Autumn 2026 semester.
