The University of Virginia School of Data Science is seeking a Student Operations Assistant to support daily building operations, events, and basic IT/AV tasks. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented UVA student who is reliable and proactive.

You will assist with front desk duties, restocking supplies, mail delivery, and setup for internal events, while gaining hands-on experience in facilities and technology support.

Responsibilities

• Support daily building operations and front desk presence.
• Assist with mail and inventory management, restocking supplies and delivering packages.
• Provide event setup and breakdown support and basic AV/IT assistance.
• Help with routine building projects and respond to tasks from administrative staff.
