Job summary

The University of Southern Indiana seeks a New Student Onboarding Associate to plan, coordinate, and implement orientations and programs in NSTP. You will support Undergraduate Admissions and manage post-admission activities leading to orientation and enrollment.

Responsibilities include coordinating check-in, reports, materials, and software, supervising student workers, and maintaining program statistics while ensuring professional, courteous service to students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with three to five years relevant experience required.
• Ability to work with and relate to a diverse public.
• Strong organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Respond professionally to inquiries and assist students with department services.
• Manage check-in for orientation sessions and generate reports.
• Coordinate orientation materials, volunteers, and staff scheduling.
• Assist in onboarding, training, and supervision of student workers.
• Maintain reports and statistics for departmental programs.
