Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a dedicated Student Programming Specialist to lead and manage New Student Orientation activities. You will coordinate with academic advising and fellow staff to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for incoming students.

You will also develop and refine orientation communications and oversee email and phone outreach, while supervising student staff in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role supports Bloomington campus with in-person engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in education, social work, public affairs, counseling, business, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in higher education, student affairs, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead academic components of New Student Orientation and related webinars and sessions.
• Coordinate with academic advising units to ensure smooth orientation experience for students and staff.
• Create, develop, and improve orientation communications and student-facing information.
