Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 3–5 years relevant experience required.
• Ability to work with and relate to a diverse public.
• Strong organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to make decisions based on established service philosophy.
• Ability to manage multiple demands with high student contact and interaction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• College coursework or Associate degree preferred.
• Experience in higher education setting preferred.
• Experience editing written materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement orientations and programs.
• Assist in post-admission activities leading to orientation and enrollment.
• Coordinate check-in for orientation sessions and prepare reports.
• Manage holds and coordinate department-wide logistics.
• Train student staff and supervise orientation leaders.
• Maintain office and assist with social media content and newsletters.
