Job summary

Qualifications

• Student position; must be enrolled.
• Commitment to safety around the shop and maintenance area.
• Ability to assist in repairs and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairing equipment and structural items in and around the Union building.
• Assist in troubleshooting leaks, stoppages, and inadequate supply or faulty operations of water, steam, gas, and airlines; make appropriate repairs.
• Maintain a safe environment in the shop by cleaning and maintaining the area.
• Assist in cleaning the plaza, painting, staining, varnishing, fixing light fixtures, and emergency lights testing.
