Job summary

K-State Student Union in Manhattan, KS is offering a student position to assist with routine maintenance, repairs, and administrative tasks around the union building. The role requires working up to 30 hours per week when school is in session, with international students capped at 20 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairing equipment and structural items in and around the Union building.
• Assist in troubleshooting leaks, stoppages, and inadequate supply or faulty operations of water, steam, gas, and airlines; make appropriate repairs.
• Maintain a safe environment in the shop by cleaning and maintaining the area.
• Assist in cleaning the plaza, painting, staining, varnishing, fixing light fixtures, and emergency lights testing.
