Job summary

The Scion Group seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in supervising all onsite operations at our Baton Rouge property. This role requires a hands-on leader with a customer-centric mindset who can manage staff, administer property processes and drive financial performance.

You will coordinate resident services, oversee turnover, maintenance, billing, and on-call coverage while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.
• At least 1 year experience in living communities or property management.
• Proficiency in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching for staff performance and foster a positive and productive team environment.
• Ensure onsite staff are trained and compliant with Fair Housing, safety and company policies.
• Manage resident accounts, utility billing, accounts receivable, and regular auditing.
• Ensure move-in/out processes, room assignments, transfers and turnover are efficiently executed.
• Drive customer experience initiatives, sales activities, and marketing opportunities; monitor KPIs.
