Job summary

Engenix, Inc. is seeking an IT Technician for Ft. Rucker, AL on a contingent basis. You will support student onboarding, validate network access, and ensure requirements are met during processing.

Responsibilities include hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, ticketing coordination, and training students on equipment. Must have Security+ and SECRET clearance; High School diploma; US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Security+ certification required.
• SECRET clearance required.
• High School graduate.
• Authorized to work in the US and able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Support student onboarding by validating student network access.
• Ensure all requirements are met by the student while in processing to allow for network access.
• Provide direct, indirect, logical and physical support for all Student IT devices including upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot student devices when faults are encountered.
• Document faults and remediation steps.
• Monitor the local ticketing system and close tickets timely.
• Monitor helpdesk phones and submit tickets as needed.
• Distribute IT equipment to classes and train students on usage.
• Patch and keep machines updated with patches.
• Other duties as assigned.
