Job summary

Joliet Junior College seeks a Student Employee in Technology Support/Media Services to provide quality technical assistance while balancing class schedules. Qualifications

• GPA of 2.0 or above.
• Enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours in fall/spring.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organization, initiative and multitasking.
• Ability to work with diverse people and communities with emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and log issues in the IT ticket system.
• Assist users with software and hardware problems.
• Assist with installation, maintenance and replacement of computer equipment and multimedia systems.
• Perform housekeeping on college-owned equipment to keep devices clean and sanitized.
• Assist with live events, webinars, and video conferencing.
• Assist with daily reservation, distribution, and setup of equipment.
• Perform general office duties including data entry and inventory.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
