Job summary

Yugo is seeking a Property Manager for its student housing communities in the United States. You will lead leasing, resident relations, budgeting, marketing and team supervision to drive occupancy and asset performance while delivering an exceptional living experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in residential properties.
• Experience running a property, preferably student/university housing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Experience with property management software: Entrata, Yardi, Real Page.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site staff and meet operational goals.
• Oversee rent collections, delinquency management, and evictions.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and financial transactions.
• Coordinate leasing, marketing and resident retention.
• Monitor market trends and adjust positioning.
• Review financial reports, budgets and occupancy.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Assist in budgets and capital planning.
• Investigate resident complaints and enforce policies.
• Conduct property inspections for appearance and safety.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and Fair Housing.
• Oversee maintenance operations with Maintenance Supervisor.
• Manage vendors and contracts; coordinate projects.
• Coordinate improvements, renovations and turnovers.
• Recruit, train and develop staff.
• Conduct regular team meetings; communicate performance.
• Maintain property records and documentation.
