Job summary

Yugo is seeking an on-site Property Manager in Tempe, AZ to lead a thriving student housing community. You will supervise staff, drive leasing and marketing, and manage budgets while delivering an exceptional resident experience.

You’ll oversee rent collections, vendor relationships, and operational compliance, ensuring high occupancy and strong financial performance. A bachelor’s degree and property management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in residential properties.
• Experience running a property, ideally student/university housing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency withEntrata, Yardi, Real Page, or similar systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site staff to achieve goals and timely tasks.
• Oversee rent collection, delinquency management, and evictions per policy.
• Manage AR/AP and ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Coordinate leasing, marketing, and resident retention to maximize occupancy.
• Monitor market trends and adjust pricing for competitiveness.
• Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
• Investigate and resolve resident complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
• Oversee maintenance operations with the maintenance supervisor.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members; conduct regular meetings.
