Job summary

Yugo is seeking a Leasing Agent for its Minnesota community in Mankato. This hourly, non-exempt role focuses on leasing and marketing, resident relations, and ensuring move-ins go smoothly.

You will greet prospects, process applications, prepare leases, and collaborate with management to drive occupancy while upholding Fair Housing standards. Strong customer service and communication are essential in a fast-paced student housing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; experience in residential properties or rental operations is preferred.
• Experience in property management software (RealPage, Entrata or similar).
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to handle diverse residents and situations.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and leasing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and conduct tours, communicating features and benefits to support leasing goals.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email, or in person with professionalism and timeliness.
• Process rental applications, collect deposits, and prepare lease agreements per policy.
• Coordinate move-in/move-out processes and ensure smooth onboarding for residents.
• Maintain accurate leasing records, guest cards, leases, and renewal notices.
• Support marketing and outreach to generate leads and increase occupancy.
• Monitor market conditions and pricing to inform leasing strategies.
• Assist with community operations and maintain leasing office and model units.
