Pensacola State College is seeking a Student Financial Specialist to oversee sponsor contracts, student accounts, and cash collections. You will provide quality service to students, faculty, staff, and external entities, reporting to the Coordinator, Student Financial Services.

The Student Financial Specialist assists in overseeing theCollege’s Sponsor Contracts, student accounts, and cashcollections. This individual is responsible for providing qualitycustomer service to students, faculty, staff, administration, andthird-party entities. Reports to the Coordinator, Student FinancialServices.
Graduation from an institutionthat holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. DepartmentofEducation and approved by the College with an associate degree andtwo years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. Experience withspreadsheet/database applications. Related appropriate workexperience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis for therequired education. Successful results of a criminal backgroundcheck are required.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibilityrequirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of §435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations.Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will bedeemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A FloridaDepartment of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check willbe conducted on every successful candidate as a condition ofemployment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverseinformation contained in the background investigation at the timeof submitting the employment application will be disqualified fromemployment.
ANNUAL SALARY: $36,400.00 ($18.67/hour)
