The Senior Coordinator, Research and Reporting, supports the Officeof Institutional Research's data reporting, analytics, and datamanagement needs. The Senior Coordinator develops reports andanalyses that inform institutional stakeholders and support datasubmissions to state and federal agencies. The Senior Coordinatorresponds to data requests, develops, tests, and maintains reportsand databases, coordinates the College's state and federalreporting submissions, and collaborates with departments across theCollege to ensure data accuracy. The Senior Coordinator also provides analytical and technical support for institutionalresearch projects, surveys, accreditation, grants, and strategicinitiatives, working closely with the appropriate College staff to identify research opportunities and resolve data issues. The SeniorCoordinator, Research and Reporting reports to the Associate VicePresident, Institutional Research and Enterprise Solutions.
This is an exempt position requiring 37.5 hours per week on-site atthe Pensacola campus. The selected candidate may be required toperform work outside the normal schedule, including nights,weekends, and holidays.
Graduation with a bachelor's degreein Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Science,Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline from an institutionthat holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. DepartmentofEducation and approved by the College. Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite required. Successful completion of a criminalbackground check is mandatory. Candidates must be authorized towork in the United States on a full-time basis.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibilityrequirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of §435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations.Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A FloridaDepartment of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check willbe conducted on every successful candidate as a condition ofemployment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverseinformation contained in the background investigation at the timeof submitting the employment application will be disqualifiedfromemployment.
Two years of experience inquantitative or qualitative research, data collection, statisticalanalysis, reporting, and/or analysis of large longitudinaldatasets.
Familiarity with a variety of data analytics tools and statisticalsoftware packages such as SAS. Experience with Workday ERP systemsfor data extraction and reporting. Experience with organizational,state, and federal data reporting and validation processes, as wellas proficiency with Tableau or Power BI dashboard software.
