Job summary

Western Governors University is seeking a Financial Services Assistant to be the first point of contact for students regarding Financial Aid and Student Accounts. You will communicate clearly and empathetically to support student success and collaborate with enrollment representatives and staff.

You will handle inquiries about funding options, tuition payments, and payment plans, while documenting interactions in our CRM and maintaining compliance with regulations.

• Some evening hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for student inquiries about funding options and tuition payments.
• Resolve inquiries promptly and document interactions in the CRM.
• Escalate priority issues to appropriate resources as defined by policy.
• Explain Federal Financial Aid guidelines and billing procedures to students.
• Assist students in understanding requirements and timelines for financial aid.
