Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs, including the FAFSA process, loan programs, and SAP policies.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to large audiences.
• Willingness and ability to adjust workweek hours to travel locally for outreach events, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with financial aid software systems such as Banner.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial aid outreach and events including FAFSA nights and workshops.
• Provide financial aid counseling to students and families on aid options, SAP, and progress.
• Communicate award letters and missing information to students.
• Schedule appointments and outreach activities using institutional systems.
• Travel to high schools and communities for Outreach programs and present on financial aid processes.
• Coordinate testing accommodations and collaborate with the Office of Testing & Accommodative Services.
• Support admissions events and provide information to prospective students.
• Maintain accurate student records in the financial aid management system.
