Job summary

Rhodes-State-College in Lima, Ohio seeks a Student Services Coordinator for the Borra Center for Health Sciences to lead and support enrollment and student services. You will collaborate with Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, and the Borra Center to deliver financial aid, testing accommodations, and other services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in financial aid or student services in higher education.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs including FAFSA and SAP policies.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to large audiences.
• Willingness to adjust workweek hours to travel locally for outreach events, including evenings/weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Banner and Microsoft Office; experience with financial aid software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of a financial aid outreach plan.
• Coordinate FAFSA nights and enrollments events on/off campus.
• Provide counseling on FAFSA, loans, scholarships, and SAP to students and families.
• Prepare communications, award letters, and SAP notifications as needed.
• Schedule appointments and outreach activities; travel to high schools for events.
• Facilitate workshops for FAFSA completion and aid topics.
• Maintain accurate student records in the financial aid management system.
• Stay current with federal and state regulations through training.
• Explain aid information clearly to prospective students and families.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Testing offices to support student services.
