Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year of experience in financial aid counseling or working directly with customers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and award financial aid packages in compliance with federal, state and institutional policies and guidelines.
• Research student loan records with NSLDS and COD, updating data and reconciling records.
• Develop and monitor cost of attendance budgets and set up aid/loan periods for Return to Title IV refunds.
• Award graduate PLUS loans and support undergraduate PLUS loans.
• Provide loan exit counseling information to students withdrawing or graduating.
• Counsel prospective, new, current students and parents on application, eligibility, status and awarding of financial aid and financing programs.
