Concorde Career Colleges is hiring a Financial Aid Advisor to guide students and families through the financial aid process. You will assess eligibility, advise on funding options, and ensure compliance with federal/state rules.

Responsibilities include FAFSA/MPN processing, budgeting guidance, and coordinating with other departments to support student access to education. Remote/hybrid options may be available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1 year in financial aid or an associate degree preferred.
• One year data entry and customer service experience required.
• Experience in a proprietary online higher education environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counseling to students and families regarding financial aid options, application processes, and eligibility requirements
• Assist in the completion of FAFSA, Master Promissory Note, and other documentation
• Offer budgeting, financial literacy, and loan repayment guidance
• Evaluate and process financial aid applications according to policies
• Determine eligibility and award packages including grants, scholarships, loans, and work‑study
• Monitor documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with other departments to support student success
• Conduct workshops and outreach on financial aid opportunities
• Maintain records using appropriate software systems
• Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends
