Galen College of Nursing in Richmond, VA seeks an Enrollment Counselor to guide prospective students through the enrollment process, provide program information, and coordinate tours and follow-ups.

You will input data in Recruit and Colleague, verify prerequisites, discuss transfer credits, and help students understand financing options. A bachelor's degree and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; higher education recruitment/marketing exp preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and technical skills.
• Confident presence and customer-friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with Recruit or Colleague is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Follow up on inquiries via phone, email, web chat, and social media.
• Input data and document follow-up using Recruit and Colleague.
• Provide program information and give tours to prospective students.
• Notify students of acceptance and welcome them to the college.
• Explain program commitments and answer questions as needed.
• Ensure students are oriented to program expectations and policies.
• Guide students through enrollment, including documentation and transfer credit handling.
• Verify prerequisite rules (immunizations, background screenings).
• Meet with students to sign enrollment agreements.
• Stay current on college policies and accrediting guidelines.
• Assist with securing financing paperwork.
