Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Austin, TX seeks an Enrollment Counselor to guide prospective students through enrollment, assist with applications, financial aid, and registration, and coordinate campus events. The role blends admissions expertise with student-focused service and compliance.

You will provide admissions appointments, tours, and outreach at fairs, ensuring smooth transfer and documented communications throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with CRM systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and virtual admissions appointments and campus tours for prospective students.
• Communicate with prospects via phone, email, text, and Galen systems.
• Maintain detailed communication logs in the CRM throughout enrollment.
• Guide applicants through enrollment steps including application, documents, testing, transfer credits, financial aid, and registration.
• Schedule enrollment appointments and assist with financial planning and enrollment documents.
• Represent Galen at local events and campus activities.
• Support Open House and orientation events and maintain FERPA compliance.
• Stay updated on college policies and regulatory requirements.
