Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Houston is seeking an Enrollment Counselor to guide prospective students through the enrollment process and serve as the primary contact throughout the journey. You will input data, provide program information, and arrange campus tours to help applicants choose the best path.

You will explain transfer credits, prerequisites, financing options, and college policies while maintaining a student-first, collaborative environment that reflects the organization\'s commitment

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; higher education recruitment or marketing experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral skills are required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and office software.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on inquiries via phone, email, web chat, and social media.
• Input data and document follow-up for prospective students using Recruit and Colleague.
• Provide in-depth information on on-campus programs and conduct campus tours.
• Notify students of acceptance and guide them through enrollment steps.
• Explain transfer credits, prerequisites, and financing options as needed.
• Ensure students understand program expectations and college policies.
