Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking an Enrollment Counselor to guide prospective students through the enrollment process, provide program information, input data in Recruit and Colleague, and coordinate campus tours and admissions steps.

You will serve as the main contact for applicants, verify prerequisites and documentation, and help students understand transfer credits and financing options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a earned baccalaureate degree, preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
• Experience in higher education, student recruitment, retention, or marketing is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on inquiries via phone, email, web chat, and social media.
• Input data and document follow-up with prospective students using Recruit and Colleague.
• Provide in-depth information on on-campus programs and give campus tours.
• Notify students of acceptance and guide them through enrollment.
• Explain program commitments and answer questions from applicants.
• Ensure students are oriented to program expectations and policies.
• Verify documentation, transfer credits, prereqs, immunizations, and screenings.
• Assist with securing financing paperwork and enrollment agreements.
