Job summary

Chippewa Valley Technical College seeks a Student Involvement Specialist to lead a comprehensive co-curricular program across CVTC campuses, enhancing student learning, belonging, and leadership development through both in-person and virtual initiatives.

The role partners with college programs and student leaders to promote meaningful engagement, track outcomes, and align activities with core learning outcomes while supporting new student orientation and campus events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, School Counseling, Higher Education, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Leadership, or related field preferred.
• Experience in college student development, student programming, student group advising, and working with diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a comprehensive college-wide co-curricular engagement program.
• Partner with college programs and student leaders to promote engagement.
• Plan and promote programs supporting student involvement, leadership, diversity, and civic engagement.
• Align initiatives with College Core Abilities and Student Journey learning outcomes.
• Support first year experience programming and orientation activities.
• Monitor student activity fee budgets and ensure responsible stewardship of funds.
• Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies for involvement programs.
