Job summary

Chippewa Valley Technical College seeks a Student Involvement Specialist to lead co-curricular learning outside the classroom. The role builds community, supports leadership development, and aligns activities with CVTC outcomes across multiple campuses.

The position collaborates with faculty, staff, and external partners to promote involvement, manage budgets, and communicate opportunities via various channels. A strong commitment to diverse student learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, School Counseling, Higher Education, or related field with at least two years of related experience.
• Master’s degree in Student Affairs or related field preferred.
• Experience in college student development, student programming, and working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive co-curricular engagement program across CVTC campuses.
• Partner with programs and student leaders to promote meaningful involvement.
• Develop assessment tools and prepare year-end reports to evaluate outcomes.
• Coordinate New Student Orientation and Welcome Day activities.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Facilities and others to support involvement initiatives.
• Maintain content on CVTC’s internal student-facing webpage and LMS.
