Job summary

Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire seeks a Student Involvement Specialist to lead a college-wide co-curricular program aligned with Core Abilities and the Student Journey. The role blends in-person and virtual student learning initiatives to foster belonging, leadership, and community across CVTC campuses.

You will partner with programs, departments, and student leaders, coordinate events, monitor budgets, and collaborate with Marketing and IT to promote engagement and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, School Counseling, Higher Education, or related field; minimum two years related experience required.
• Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Leadership, or related field preferred.
• Experience in college student development, student programming, and working with diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a comprehensive college-wide co-curricular engagement program across CVTC campuses.
• Partner with college programs, departments and student leaders to promote engagement and leadership development.
• Plan and promote programs supporting learning, leadership, diversity, financial literacy, civic engagement, and social connection.
• Align initiatives with Core Abilities and Student Journey outcomes; develop assessment tools and year-end reports.
• Support first-year experience programming and student housing engagement.
• Coordinate student activity fee budgets and assist with financial stewardship.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote involvement programs via multiple platforms.
• Work with external organizations and speakers to facilitate involvement.
• Coordinate with IT, Finance, Facilities, and other areas to develop procedures.
• Support CVTC students living in university housing and assist at orientation events.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Two years related experience

Master's degree preferred
