Job summary

Chippewa Valley Technical College seeks a Student Involvement & First Year Experience Coordinator to develop, implement, and assess a campus-wide co-curricular program that enhances student learning, belonging, and engagement across CVTC campuses. This is a salaried, exempt, full-time role with a focus on inclusive student programming and transition support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, School Counseling, Higher Education, or related field with a minimum of two years of related experience required; master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Leadership, or related field preferred.
• Experience in college student development, student programming, student group advising, and working with diverse populations preferred.
• Post-secondary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead student involvement events and coordinate the Student Association activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance student engagement across CVTC campuses.
• Coordinate Welcome Day, Orientation, First Year Experience, and transitional programming.
• Develop marketing and communication plans to promote student involvement programs and events.
• Oversee content on CVTC Commons and Canvas for student-facing information.
• Support SA governance, leadership opportunities, and student ambassador program.
