Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with word processing and database software and ability to learn and use new technologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and promotes the student engagement programs consistent with the College’s strategic plan and mission.
• Coordinates and assigns work for student engagement related functions.
• Assists students with event planning to ensure College and SUNY policies and procedures are followed.
• Plans and/or leads programming to commemorate recognition such as Women’s History Month, Black History, etc.
• Coordinates the New York State voter registration program for the College.
• Collaborates with campus partners to develop Applied Learning opportunities.
• Develops, monitors and coordinates budgets including the Student Congress annual budget.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports relating to student engagement materials.
• Advises Student Congress.
• Recruits, selects, trains, supervises and evaluates part-time staff as needed.
