Acceleration Academies is hiring Student Advocates to support students in earning their high school diplomas at our academy locations across the United States. The role focuses on mentorship, academic and non-academic support, and proactive engagement to re-engage students.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of relevant experience in educational support or youth mentorship, strong relationship-building, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills are essential.
• Adaptability and collaborative work style are important in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology.
• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enrollment and orientation for new students.
• Maintain attendance records and monitor retention for assigned students.
• Participate in canvassing and recruitment to attract new students.
• Provide one-on-one academic support and coordinate with the student support team.
• Advocate for students by connecting them to needed academic and non-academic support.
• Support daily academy operations and participate in meetings and events.
