Job summary

You will supervise staff, support the Director of Student Affairs, and coordinate activities across multiple programs in a fast-paced medical education environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or relevant experience/training.
• At least 3 years in advising/counseling students in higher education or medical education.
• Experience managing or supporting events and programs, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders: faculty, staff and students.
• Familiarity with student management systems and LMS platforms.
• Knowledge of professional school academic environment and student/faculty needs.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and prepare analyses.
• Ability to interpret School of Medicine, University and policy guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and foster cooperation among teams.
• Flexibility to work with Office of Medical Education and the Dean’s office.
• Maintain professional demeanor and sensitivity to diverse groups.
• Strong leadership and decision-making to evaluate needs, chair meetings, and train staff.
• Excellent multi-tasking and follow-through on activities.
• Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
