Job summary

University of California Davis Health is seeking a Student Development Office Manager to oversee the operations of the Student Development unit and supervise full-time staff. The role supports the Director of Student Affairs and the Associate Dean for Students across career advising, academic coaching, wellness, and events.

The Manager will coordinate programs, work with diverse stakeholders, and ensure alignment with School of Medicine policies and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related area / relevant experience
• At least 3 years advising/counseling students in higher education or medical education
• Experience managing or supporting events and programs, including scheduling and budgeting
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a team environment
• Familiarity with student management systems and LMS tools
• Knowledge of professional school academic environment and student/faculty needs
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Student Development unit and supervise full-time staff
• Support the Director of Student Affairs and Associate Dean for Students
