Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions in Texas seeks an Assistant Director to support the Campus Director by coordinating operational and academic needs, ensuring compliance with state and local requirements, supporting services, testing, attendance, facilities, and academic requirements.

The Assistant Director will assist the Director with implementing the academic program, supervising and mentoring faculty, and helping develop a positive school culture while collaborating with staff and the community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university; Master's degree preferred.
• Teaching certificate or school administrator certificate preferred
• 4+ years of successful teaching experience
• Premier Academic System experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of employees as directed and in accordance with policies and laws.
• Interview, hire, and train employees.
• Plan, assign and direct work.
• Evaluate staff performance and address issues according to policies.
• Foster a positive school culture and instructional program.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and effective learning environment management.
• Collaborate with faculty and community, responding to diverse needs.
• Understand policy, student data and state assessments; support IEP development.
• Coordinate educational programs and meetings with staff.
