Job summary

Berea College is seeking a Care Management Support Associate to join Counseling Services. This on-campus role focuses on non-clinical care management, resource navigation, and referral assistance for students, under supervision of the Care Manager.

The position emphasizes training, professional development, and collaboration with campus partners. Responsibilities include conducting basic needs assessments, coordinating referrals, and maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from Berea College with graduation expected in 2025 or 2026, in a related field preferred.
• Experience with student-facing interactions and collaboration with diverse populations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to navigate resources and services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic needs assessments and develop individualized service plans.
• Coordinate with campus/community resources to meet identified needs.
• Provide non-clinical support, referrals, and follow-up with students.
• Maintain accurate case files and follow FERPA/HIPAA standards.
• Assist with program development and HEART team activities.
• Supervise student workers as part of Berea College’s labor program.
