River Parishes Community College seeks a Student Accounts & Billing Specialist to manage student billing, accounts receivable, and related administrative tasks under the Bursar. You will process dual enrollment contracts, exemptions, waivers, and refunds, ensuring accurate records and timely responses to inquiries.

• Associate degree required.
• Substitution of minimum 3 years of accounting/financial systems experience accepted as alternative.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years in accounting or financial systems preferred.
• Experience with student billing, invoicing, and account analysis preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process and maintain dual enrollment contracts and related student billing documentation.
• Apply and maintain third-party billing agreements and sponsorship contracts.
• Process approved tuition exemptions, waivers, and other student account adjustments.
• Review student accounts for accuracy of charges, credits, and applicable fees.
• Assist with accounts receivable reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Assist with student billing, account statements, and account inquiries.
• Research and resolve student account discrepancies and billing concerns.
• Coordinate with Financial Aid, Admissions, Registration, and other departments regarding student account matters.
• Monitor and respond to Bursar's Office emails concerning billing, contracts, exemptions, waivers, and student accounts.
• Identify and review student credit balances for refund processing.
• Process approved student refunds in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
• Respond to student, parent, and employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate student account records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Assist with semester billing activities and registration-related account processes.
• Provide general administrative support to the Bursar as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
